Dana Maman
Hebrew Teacher
“I love working with the students! I especially love those students who need a little extra time comprehending each concept or word. I see myself in the children and that makes me work with patience and determination. I really enjoy my job.”
Dana was born and lived in Israel until 2001. As a student, Dana earned all of the certificates available throughout her studies. During her time in the Israeli Army, she was the Head Military Assistant of the Merkava Tank Development Authorities. After she moved to the United States, Dana began a family and started using her many talents to help KJDS. She has created backdrops, sewed costumes, made Israeli lunches for the students and generously celebrated all the holidays at the school. When her third child became a student, she joined the staff officially. As a teacher of our youngest students, Dana’s natural state of “nurturing” is a perfect fit.
